      Description

When the orphan sisters Yin and Yang showed up at a rural Virginia shelter, the staff could only differentiate the girls by their paws -- one having dark, one light.  But in time the girls special features emerged and these white-and-charcoal colored kitties grew to be different but oh so complementary litter mates.

Yang (meaning light) is a care-free kitten, brave and trusting.  She'll be a purr-machine for you when picking her up during your very first encounter.  Yang is a skinny, delicately built kitty under the fluff of her medium length coat.  She has loving, gold-green eyes and the white paws that are her namesake.  She's a little clumsy and isn't afraid of anything while she is bounding about.   Her fur is just about the softest her foster family has touched.  Yang prefers to stay close to her human and even comes when called in a high-pitched voice.  She is litter-trained and loves wet food.

Yin (meaning dark) is a little more serious than her goofy sibling, cautious and timid initially when meeting a new person.  But give her two days and she'll begin to purr louder than Yang when you pet her!  She is a plump, happy little girl, with grey-gold eyes.  Her short coat is mostly a dark charcoal while her legs, face, and belly have lighter stripes.  She’s sturdily built and walks with pride in her step.  Yin lives to explore the nooks and crannies of a room before taking a long nap stretched across the sofa or cat tower.  I wouldn't be surprised if she was birthed first because she definitely has that big-sister attitude, very aware of her surroundings and watchful over Yang.  While she might not want to sleep right in your arms, Yin prefers to doze with her human close enough to rest her head on.  She has impeccable litter box manners and enjoys both wet and dry food.

Yin and Yang are vaccinated, dewormed, and healthy.  They are available for adoption now. It's Fancy Cats' policy that kittens be adopted in pairs so they have companionship, and who better than two healthy, happy, unique sisters that already love and enjoy each other so much!  Visit the sisters' photo album at:  https://picasaweb.google.com/112099229326975514812/YinYangFancyCats
