Come meet Tuna Tully at:
100 North 2nd Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106
If you have questions or would like an application (recommended for people with difficulty reaching the shelter), you can email email@example.com
My name is Tuna Tully, quite a funny name, I know, but I am serious cat – serious about head rubs!
I was found wandering around City Hall hoping to apply for the position of the Mayor’s Official Kitty, but instead I ended up in a cage for the past few months. I am not sure why I am in here, surrounded by all these other cats. These nice people take care of me, but I would love to have a home of my very own and will try to get your attention with a sweet high-pitched meow if you walk past my cage.
I'm a little scared here, at times, but pet me, brush me and I am all yours!
Please take a chance on a sweet handsome cat like me!
I want to come and be the mayor of your home. Please elect to take me home!

PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. PAWS pulls at-risk animals from the City of Philadelphia's animal control shelter and adopts them out, either from our adoption center (located at 2nd and Arch Streets), from one of our adoption locations at area PETCO and PetSmart stores, or from our network of foster homes.
PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.
When you adopt a pet from PAWS you truly save a life!
PAWS' Adoption Center in Old City is open Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11a.m.-7p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please reference this animal's ID NUMBER when inquiring about this pet.
All animals adopted from PAWS are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Adoption fees are as follows: $75 for dogs older than 1 year, $110 for puppies under 1 year, $50 for cats over 6 months of age, and $75 for cats under 6 months of age.
Please visit our web site, www.phillypaws.org, for our full calendar of adoption events throughout the region, and for more information on adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.
