About the Animal Shelter

The RCACP provides animal control services for the area. Because of space limitations at the RVSPCA, efforts are made through the RCACP to find homes for adoptable animals and prevent euthanasia due to lack of space.

Adoption Process

All adoptions are processed through the Roanoke Valley SPCA. Adoption fees are: $110 dogs under 6 mo.; $85 dogs over 6 mo.; $85 cats under 6 mo.; $65 cats over 6 mo.
