About the Animal Shelter
Nevada Humane Society is a nonprofit, charitable organization founded in 1932. We are a no-kill shelter whose mission is to find homes and provide care for homeless animals and to bring people and animals together to make Washoe County a no-kill community.

Adoption Process
We have an interview process for adoptions and each is handled on a case-by-case basis. Our regular adoption fees for cats and dogs is $50 but we often have special promotional fees.
Meet the Pets
We are open seven days a week from 11am to 6:30pm, opening at 10am on Saturdays. We are located at 2825 Longley Ln, Reno, Nevada.
