Description

Shelly was rescued by Jennifer along with Marge, Homer & Clementine.

Shelly came from a breeder who wasn't able to sell her because she didn't "meet the breed standards." She came with with a very bad eye infection. Both eyes were full of pus and swollen. She was diagnosed with a viral herpes infection. After about a month of treatment, she had to have her right eye removed because it was bulging and painful. She has always been a very sweet, playful little girl. If you drag something noisy in front of her, she will bat at it and catch it with her paw.

Jennifer discovered quickly how hard it is to find a home for a blind cat in Texas,  the shelters all said they would kill them.  She put them on a plane and flew them to us.

Shelly is an absolute love bug. She is the one that is always first to sit in your lap. She loves to give kisses and will gently stroke your face with her paw.

Shelly started having problems with eye infections so we decided to go ahead and remove them.  Doesn't she look cute?
