Rascal came from Puerto Rico as a pup where he and a kitten were found living in a pile of garbarge. Now 3 years old he is medium sized and weighs about 50 lbs. Handsome with a soft black and white coat he is believed to be a mix of Border Collie, Basset Hound and Spaniel.
In spite of his rough start in life, Rascal is a bright dog and knows basic commands like sit, down and stay. He is well mannered in the house and is house trained. A playful pup, he loves riding in the car, playing in the water, fetching tennis balls and playing with other dogs that are calm and well mannered.
Understandably because of his previous experience he has a timid side that shows when he encounters something new and will work best if he isn’t pulled or huried into new things.
Rascal is loyal, faithful, and loves to please so if the right person is willing to commit their time and patience to him there's nothing this dog won't try his best to do. He wants a best friend who will protect him, be gentle to him and positively encourage him.
Having come all this way from Puerto Rico there must be a special person out there that can meet him half way and show him the way home. Please contact us today.
