All animals adopted from the Humane Society of Randolph County, NC ('HSRC') are heartworm (dogs)/feline leukemia (cats) negative; spayed or neutered; & up-dated on vaccinations (parvo, rabies, distemper, etc.) prior to adoption. Tax-deductible adoption fees are $85.00 for dogs and $70.00 for cats (with some exceptions). All cats are required to be indoor companions. All dogs are required to be kept indoors or in safely contained outdoor areas. Please remember the adoption cost covers spay/neuter fees, vaccination fees, and testing fees.
