I was brought to the shelter as a stray, pretty scared of people. In spite of that, I'm a playing fool! I love to play with everyone in sight, but I also love to cuddle with foster meowmy and daddy. I was at the shelter for a very long time, so I'm really happy to be in a home with a real bed to sleep on! Do you have a lap for me to sleep on? UPDATE: I was adopted, but returned to Siamese Rescue because I wasn't warming up to my new meowmy. I was very happy to see foster meowmy and daddy again, but I still need my own home. INSIGHTS: Cleo will be best with a home that places no expectations on her. She loves to sit in laps and be cuddly, but she can't be picked up very easily, and she can't be held at all. She would be best as a companion for another cat, but she would have to be your companion on her own terms. LATEST UPDATE: Cleo was adopted for almost a year, but was returned because she wasn't working out. I want to stress that she loves to be a lap cat, but she absolutely won't be picked up, and she runs and hides if she feels stressed. If she doesn't feel stressed, she's the sweetest girl around, a big lap cat. Based on her experience, she needs to be with other cats so that her adopter isn't tempted to try to pick her up and hug her. Since she sits in her foster meowmy's lap and ignores her foster daddy, she'd probably do best in a home where her primary care-giver is a woman. Rescued in Austin, TX, and fostered there, too. (CS)
