Boots and Buddy are two DARLING 10 year old lab dalmations mixes who have fallen on hard times. These siblings have been together their entire lives and lived with the same family their entire lives until very recently. These dogs were surrendered to us by their owner, a young man in his twenties who until recently lived with an cared for his elderly grandparents who had raised him. When his grandfather died earlier this year, this young man could no longer afford to live in the home he had shared with his grandparents and had to move. As a result he had to find a place for these two dogs as well. As you can imagine, he was heartbroken.
These dogs are as sweet as they come. They are great with other dogs, people and kids. Buddy likes to chase cats so its probably best that he not be homed with them.
Because these dogs have lived their whole lives together, we want to re-home them together. However we would consider separating them if it was absolutely necessary. Buddy and Boots are still full of life. They squeal with glee when their leashed come out and its time for a walk, but they don't need a daily marathon. What they need most is the love of a family. And they will return that love a thousand times.
