Amodeus Jr. (aka “AJ”) is the last of a colony of abandoned cats, befriended by a kind woman. Except for the long, bushy tail, he is the spitting image of his handsome bobtail father, Amodeus, recently placed in a loving home through Tailless Cat Rescue. Estimated at 22 months old and weighing around 12 lbs, AJ has inherited his father’s wonderful personality – calm and quiet, the perfect cat who will not be ruffled by any event. His foster mom writes “Just like his father, he is a born lap cat with the temperament of a saint. He eats anything, does not start any trouble, loves his brush, and the nearest lap.”
AJ is also playful and energetic, as one would expect from a cat his age, but remains gentle with the other cats in the house. Consequently, he will need a home with at least one other playful feline companion, as well as human companionship.
AJ must be kept strictly indoors and declawing is not allowed. He has been neutered and received a rabies vaccination. His adoption fee is $75. He is located near Charlotte.
